Telephone CPR Program and Outcomes After Out-of-Hospital Cardiac ArrestIn this prospective, before-after, observational study,
survival to hospital discharge and favorable functional outcome
increased significantly from 9.1% to 12.0% and from 5.6% to 8.3%,
respectively. Guideline-based telephone CPR programs can help
communities improve patient outcomes after out-of-hospital
cardiac arrest.
